The Beginning of It All...

This is my blog...and because this is my blog, I guess there should be some kind of introduction/ explanation thingy.


So yeah, my name is Alison and I am 21 years old. I have started this blog at a very interesting time in my life...I am just a few short months shy of my undergraduate graduation from Auburn University. The best part of it all...I have no clue what I want to do with my life. So, I thought to myself, why not include everyone in the whole wide world who cares enough, to partake in my unknown journey??...so here it goes. I profusely apologize in advance.





Things I do know...
-I have a great (sometimes) boyfriend named Bobby, whom I love a lot. To eliminate some confusion and theories of cheating that may later come, I sometimes refer to him as Bozeman. We started dating in the summer of 2005, right after our senior year of high school. Before that, I guess you could say we were best friends...we went to church together for 12 years...our first conversation together consisted of Bozeman telling me of his wondrous talents in long division...I was none too pleased. After our summer together, I moved off to Auburn and he moved to Tuscaloosa, and so began our long distance relationship.


-I have really enjoyed my time at Auburn, especially the time I had with my grils...yes, I know that I misspelled girl, but that is just how we roll. The grils are: Ashley and Haley, and they graduated in May...just in case you need clarification later on. They are my best friends.


-I love my family most of the time...but I love Claire, my niece, ALL of the time. She is the greatest and I claim her as my own. (And some people from Wetumpka think she is my own...lol).


-I have a cat named Lucy. She is crazy and likes to destroy things...but I guess that is just typical cat behavior. I adopted her in the March of 2008 from Lee County Humane Society, right after I had an awesome (sarcasm) wreck...against my parents' wishes. :)


-I have a turtle named Isabell. She is chill...and that is why I love her. I have had her since I graduated high school. I also got Isabell against my parents' wishes....I guess I am a little rebellious.


-I live in a really small town called Wetumpka in Alabama. Sometimes, I love it...sometimes, I really hate it. I guess it all depends on my mood. Wetumpka is known for Christmas on the Coosa (yearly Christmas parade/ festivities...it is actually a big deal and one of my fondest things about good ol' Wetu), Big Fish and...well that's about it. Sometimes it is nice to go home and see familiar faces...


I guess the main goal of this blog is to allow people to keep up with me after I have ventured into my undecided future, provide a little entertainment/venting area and blog about things that I like. i.e. recipes, Etsy finds, etc.
